ABOUT

The Unit of Distance Education of Mersin University was established within the structure of Vocational High School of Mersin, in 2002. The very first online-based courses started in Fall of 2002-2003, within  the Industrial Electronics program. Chronologically, new departments and associate degree programs started the courses respectively: In 2003, Computer Technologies and Programming(Computer Programming), Electronic Communication (Technology of Electronic Communication) and Industrial Automation (Technology of Control and Automation) programs; in 2009, Business Administration and Pharmacy; in 2010 , Healthcare Management and Medical Advertisement & Marketing; in 2011, Public Relations and Advertisement programs were opened. Finally, in the season of 2012-2013, Sylviculture & Forestry Products and  Technology of Cosmetics; in 2016-2017, program of Occupational Health & Safety was opened, and totally 13 associate degree programs were established.
