Qualified manpower is needed for the protection of forests and for forestry activities in our forests, which have a large area in our country's territory. The business area is wide and Forestry and Forest Products activities are indispensable in the global market. Our country should also take place in the global arena and practices related to this issue should be carried out by professionals and educated professionals so that it can be successful and permanence can be achieved.

Our Forestry and Forest Products Program is a 4-semester associate degree higher education program aiming to raise qualified people. It is carried out with a distance education model. Distance education is practiced effectively and intensively abroad today. Turkey also taken by a wider dissemination and education of the masses, is of great importance. Especially, it is important that a wide-targeted program, such as the Forestry and Forest Products Program, has been established in the distance education model.

Students who graduated from the Forestry and Forest Products Program; They perform technical and administrative duties in central and provincial organizations affiliated to the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs and in institutions such as the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works, the General Directorate of Highways, the State Planning Organization. In the private sector, he can work as a technical staff in private organizations and private forest nurseries that do business and operations related to forestry.

Graduates of the program receive the title of Forest Technician and Forest Conservation Officer.
